Wesley Sneijder has moved to end that speculation! And by end it we mean sign an extension with the club until 2015.
The outstanding Dutch play maker has been in absolutely fine form for the last year and a bit. It will have the Inter fans breathing a huge sigh of relief, along with the coaching staff and owners. The 26-year-old has shown his intentions which will come as a blow to other leading clubs around Europe who were hoping to prize him away if the contract wasn’t to his liking.
We expect him to continue to help Inter win trophies, and at the same time win some personal honors. He is our favorite to land Fifa’s prestigious Ballon d’Or award.
